Agricultural Insurance
Agricultural Insurance is divided into two parts:
1. Crop Insurance.
2. Livestock insurance.
1. Crop Insurance.
Risks covered in irrigated agriculture which can be summarized in:
> Agricultural pests and diseases.
> Weather unusual (flooding, hailstones, lighting, windstorm...etc.)
> Low river levels which cause water shortages.
> Inundation due to excessive rain or canal breakage.
> Unintended canal breakage leading to irrigation problems.
> Unintended fires.
2. Livestock Insurance.
This insurance covers (cows and sheep and goats and camels) against the following risks:
> Death and diseases and accidents.
> Theft (in the case of farms enclosed).
> Abortion (additional price).
